when a window is invisible a tool can be a beam
of sound can keep from seeing when you can’t see
a door or react to a beam can keep from being
when you can’t see a light within a black box
a little scar underneath the eyeball like a fingernail moon
a fingernail moon pitted and faded with the passing of time
but in the light it gets bigger and takes up the space
underneath the orbital bone where you can’t see
a frequency can radiate outward and change others
and then they will radiate the same frequency
they can use tools because they’ve learned to use them
and real people won’t understand when they’ve been changed
the eyes may be spaced just slightly apart or may be
a different color and the nose may be lower on the face
but it didn’t look that way last week or even yesterday
when a change is involved a frequency can radiate
a beam of light can keep real people from feeling
and when they can’t see a door they can’t feel or react
they tend to keep them together in the same area
the changes can be slow or sudden but they will be forever
the rooms they keep have windows and doors
seen when it happens or where it happened
and in many cases cannot be heard or felt
a black box is invisible when a tool is involved
